North Park

North Park is a remote area of the Rocky's with a lot of logging and old mining trails. My family has always stayed close to the Big Creek Lakes area and Pearl, CO. One of my favourite trails goes to Black Hall Mountain, an old fire watch station.

The first photo is somewhere in North Park, I probably couldn't find the location again, but the wildflowers and undisturbed wilderness are always beautiful. The last two photos are on the trail up to that watchtower, before the snow became too much to cross without damaging the tundra around it. Up this high in the Rocky Mountains, snow isn't unusual to find, even in July.
